Where we are right now
This website is a pre-launch information and sign-up page for Progress Path, a book and app system created by Fay Birmingham. Nothing on this site is currently for sale, and no payment is taken through this site.
Applying to become a Founding Family
Applying to become a Founding Family, or a Founding School or fostering agency, is an expression of interest, not a guarantee of a place. Founding Family places are limited, selected at our discretion, and offered in the run-up to our public launch this autumn.
Founding School partnerships
A school or fostering agency’s participation as a Founding School partner is governed by a separate written agreement between Progress Path Ltd and that school, covering access, confidentiality, security, retention and how the partnership can end. No pupil information becomes accessible to a school until that agreement is signed. This agreement has not yet been drafted.
Content and ownership
The Progress Path name, method, book content, app concept and the accessory collection (Atlas, Athena and Olympus) belong to Progress Path Ltd and Fay Birmingham. Please do not copy or reproduce this content without asking us first.
Not a clinical service
Progress Path is not a clinical intervention and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or safeguarding advice. It is a structured family growth system designed to support connection, routine, recognition and reflection. If you have concerns about your child’s wellbeing, please speak to a qualified professional.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product moves from testing towards public launch. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Using the Progress Path app (staging testing)
If you are invited to test the staging app, these additional points apply:
- Account creation and adult responsibility. Accounts are created by adults. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for keeping your password and grown-up code private, and for how devices in your home are used.
- Parent-controlled family accounts. The account belongs to the responsible adult. Children take part through the child side and child device codes under your control; a child never holds the account.
- Invitations and access permissions. Only invite adults you trust. An invited adult sees only what you permit, and you can revoke their access at any time. Invitation links are single use and expire.
- Your uploaded material. Photographs, documents, voice recordings and text you add remain yours. You confirm you have the right to upload them (for example, that a photograph is yours to share).
- The limited permission you give us. You give Progress Path Ltd only the limited permission needed to store, process and display that material back to your own family inside the app, so the service can work. We do not use your material for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it to train artificial intelligence, and do not share it with anyone outside the processors listed in the Privacy Policy.
- Acceptable use. Use the app only for your own family, lawfully. Do not upload content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, that is harmful, or that concerns another person's child without proper authority.
- Suspension, revocation and deletion. We may suspend or end access for accounts that misuse the service or put children at risk, telling you why unless the law prevents it. You can delete your family at any time from Settings, and media is deleted first.
- Complaints and contact. Email admin@progresspath.uk. During testing you will receive a direct, personal reply. You also always have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
- Service limitations. The app is a staging test service: it is provided free during testing, availability is not guaranteed, and features may change between visits. Progress Path is not a clinical, diagnostic, safeguarding decision-making or emergency service, and nothing in it replaces professional judgement about a child.
Consumer terms
Nothing is sold through the site or the app today, and no payment is taken. That does not make consumer law irrelevant: the general fairness and transparency of these terms under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and related digital consumer rules are awaiting UK solicitor review. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be written, reviewed and published before any billing is ever introduced. These terms contain no arbitration clause and no class action waiver, and none will be added without a solicitor's advice.
